i can't believe that this is my last monday in the states...a week from now i'll be almost two hours into my flight to scotland...and to think my packing amounts to a collection of stuff sitting on top of a suitcase. haha - i'll get there. i've been asked what i'm going to do with my last week, but honestly, i don't want it to be dramatically different that what i've been doing...i think keeping this wonderful normalcy of hanging out and doing the local thing, meeting up with friends, spending time with family, is perfectly wonderful. walks on the beach, coffee talks [of course!], just talking, hanging out until late, sleeping in [sometimes...yes, believe it or not i've been waking up pretty consistently before 10...shocker, for sure :)], swimming, shopping [think england, thing england...] and homemade cookies seem to do just the trick :)

now only if there was a way to combine davis and home into one great city...that would be awesome. to think that everyone is getting situated in their new apartments make me miss our blue apartment with the red door and everything it contained so much.

i hope you all will keep in touch! i know i will <3 if you haven't already looked into it...skype [skype.com] can be downloaded as an IM service but you can also talk via microphone through the computer. it's so great and free!! wow i feel like cut, that's a take! haha...anyway it seems to be a great way to keep up to date with each other.
